About the FaithBridge Youth Ministry...
The Youth Ministry at FaithBridge centers around helping young people in 6th-12th grades CONNECT with God in a meaningful and lasting faith relationship. Every event and activity of our Youth Ministry is designed to help youth encounter God, from worship services and retreats to living everyday lives with meaning and purpose.
The Youth Group meets twice per week in order to help NURTURE the faith of all who participate. On Wednesdays after school, there is a Bible Study at the home of our Youth Minister, Kyle Sigmon, where God's Word is discussed openly and honestly and applied relevantly. On Sundays after Worship, the group gathers at the church offices for lunch, some high energy worship, a message with discussion, and service projects.
The FaithBridge Youth also go out into the community to SERVE others. Service opportunities happen throughout the year and in conjunction with Sunday afternoon gatherings. One of our favorite service opportunities is visiting a local nursing home called Mountain Care. The youth visit with residents, sing songs and do interpretive sign language, and lead them in singing some popular hymns using a guitar and drum.
